A major tactic of those who sit on top of the Tyranny of Relativism is to seize control of the vocabulary. It is actually a page out of the Marxist playbook. On Jan. 10, 1963, Florida Congressman Albert S. Herlong Jr. read a list of 45 Communist goals into the Congressional Record. The list was derived from researcher Cleon Skousen’s book “The Naked Communist.” These principles, some of which are reproduced below, are well worth revisiting today in order to gain insights into the thinking and strategies of those who are aggressively trying to shape the way we think:
--Get control of the schools. Use them as transmission belts for Socialism and current Communist propaganda. Soften the curriculum. Get control of teachers associations. Put the party line in textbooks.
--Gain control of all student newspapers.
--Infiltrate the press. Get control of book review assignments, editorial writing, policy making positions.
--Gain control of key positions in radio, TV & motion pictures.
--Continue discrediting American culture by degrading all form of artistic expression. An American Communist cell was told to "eliminate all good sculpture from parks and buildings," substituting shapeless, awkward and meaningless forms.
--Control art critics and directors of art museums. "Our plan is to promote ugliness, repulsive, meaningless art."
--Eliminate all laws governing obscenity by calling them "censorship" and a violation of free speech and free press.
--Break down cultural standards of morality by promoting pornography and obscenity in books, magazines, motion pictures, radio and TV.
--Present homosexuality, degeneracy and promiscuity as "normal, natural and healthy."
--Infiltrate the churches and replace revealed religion with "social" religion. Discredit the Bible and emphasize the need for intellectual maturity, which does not need a "religious crutch."
--Eliminate prayer or any phase of religious expression in the schools on the grounds that it violates the principle of "separation of church and state"
--Discredit the American Constitution by calling it inadequate, old fashioned, out of step with modern needs, a hindrance to cooperation between nations on a worldwide basis.
--Discredit the American founding fathers. Present them as selfish aristocrats who had no concern for the "common man."
We can see that, in general, the Marxist plan, most of which has taken form hold in America since 1963, to so promote chaos and while everyone is confused, move in with the radical abortion agenda and call it “women’s reproductive health.” Promote sodomy as “love wins!”
To combat social mayhem, we used to appeal to standards that everyone would agree on then the proceed from that point. The dictionary definition of a “phobia”is “an exaggerated usually inexplicable and illogical fear of a particular object or a class of objects.”
So to be a “homophobe” one would have to have an irrational fear of homosexuals. To be a “hater” one would have to hate homosexuals. Personally, I neither fear nor hate homosexuals. I strongly disagree with the gay political agenda that has wrecked the institution of marriage in our country and now strives to use the Marxist stranglehold on education in this country and elsewhere to force this agenda on everyone else.
Nazi propaganda minister Joseph Goebbels once said, “If you tell a lie big enough and keep repeating it, people will eventually come to believe it. The lie can be maintained only for such time as the State can shield the people from the political, economic and/or military consequences of the lie. It thus becomes vitally important for the State to use all of its powers to repress dissent, for the truth is the mortal enemy of the lie, and thus by extension, the truth is the greatest enemy of the State.”
Changing the definition of words, fanning the confusion that ensues, and then sanctioning those who do not acquiesce is one such way that the State uses its powers to repress dissent. This is just one in a long line of strategies such as promoting ugliness and calling it “art,” defending pornography as “freedom of expression,” and using the courts to attack our freedom of religion under the guise of “separation of church and state” that has undermined and corrupted our culture from within. Forewarned is forearmed.
